Good Evening Bastrop,

🍀 The Question Everyone's Asking: Where to Get Corned Beef & Cabbage for St. Patrick's Day

The "Living in Bastrop County" Facebook group was buzzing this week when someone asked the question on many people’s minds - where can you get corned beef and cabbage locally for St. Patrick's Day? The community came through with some great answers, and we're rounding them up here so you don't have to scroll.

  • 602 Brewing Co. on Main Street was one of the first to reply — simply "We are!" Their annual corned beef special is a crowd favorite, with one regular calling it "so delish" and saying she looks forward to it every year. 919 Main St | 602brewing.com

  • Gracie's (The Grace Miller) also got a shout-out from the community, with a mouthwatering photo of their corned beef plate — red potatoes, carrots, and cabbage — making the rounds in the comments. 706 Pine St | (512) 332-2991

  • Leo's Italian Grill in Cedar Creek is doing something a little extra special this year: house-brined corned beef cooked sous vide, served with colcannon and homemade Irish soda bread. That's a St. Patrick's Day plate worth the drive. Leo's Italian Grill, Cedar Creek

  • Old Town Restaurant and Bar was also recommended in the thread as a local option worth checking out.

Copper Shot Distillery is celebrating all day — they're dressed in green and open for St. Patrick's Day from 11 AM–9 PM at 809 Main Street. Stop in for a festive cocktail after your corned beef.

Call ahead to confirm specials and hours - these are community-sourced tips and menus can change.
